The Souber UPVC ‘No Cam’ Door Kit is an innovative solution specifically designed to overcome failed UPVC Multipoint door locks that do not feature Rollers or Cams.
These locks are often difficult to approach as the lack of a roller, mushroom or sliding cam means there is not an obvious point to strike which has a vertical travel pathway, to return the lock to the open position. Souber have created a fantastic product which works in conjunction with their existing Door Spreader Kit, to enable the engineer to access the hooks, pins or deadbolts of a lock mechanism. Once the kit is in use, a 3mm protected opening will allow visible access to the locking points, and by introducing a specially designed reciprocating blade, the locking points can be cut through without damage to the door set.
Other components include meticulously designed chisels to allow the user to purchase and strike any locking points that can be manually pushed back into the lock or clear any debris.
This neatly boxed kit provides a comprehensive solution to a well known issue, whilst protecting the door from damage. Engineers can approach failed locks with total confidence and with a product that appears professional to clients.
Magi Blades should only be used with one of the recommended machines (Bosch GSA 12V-14, Dewalt DCS312, Mkita JR105DZ (12V), Makita DJR183 (18V), Milwaukee C12 HZ) with a 3Ah battery - fully charged - and ideally, a spare. Please note this system must be used with the Souber Tools ‘Door Spreader Kit’.
